Ready America - for Individuals
Terrorists are working hard to obtain biological, chemical, nuclear, and radiological weapons. The threat of an attack is real and Homeland Security is working hard to strengthen our nation's security. While there is no way to predict what will happen, or what your personal circumstance will be, this training will show simple things that you can do now to prepare yourself and your loved ones. 4 Hr.

Ready America - for businesses
How quickly your company gets back to business after a terrorist attack or any natural event often depends on emergency planning done today. Lessons learned from the World Trade Center attack in 9/11 demonstrate the importance of being prepared. The current international political climate demands that preparedness is an even more critical issue. Though each situation is unique, any organization can be better prepared if it plans carefully, puts emergency procedures in place, and practices for all kinds of emergencies.

If businesses are ready to survive and recover, it is imperative and that our nation and our economy are secure. This 3 day workshop offers a certificate of training for businesses. It provides practical information to help you plan for your company's future. Every business should have a plan. Get ready now. 24 Hr.

PPE's are worn by response teams during a Haz Mat incident or a weapon of mass destruction event. This training includes ID components of PPE, factors that contribute selection of specific PPE, information on four levels of protection, basic steps in donning and doffing, and key procedures in the inspection of PPE. 3 Hr.

Decontamination or DECON
This is a process of removing or neutralizing contaminants that have accumulated on personnel and equipments. Decontamination is critical to worker's health & safety at hazardous waste sites. It protects workers from hazardous substances that may contaminate and eventually permeate the protective clothing, respiratory equipment, tools, vehicles, and other equipment used on site. 3 Hr.

Hazard Communication
If there is a terrorist attack to a business that has hazardous materials on site, it is important that employees and workers know the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemicals located on their premises. Hazard Communication (HazCom) is one of the requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) that inform employees the potential hazards in the workplace and includes reading warning labels and digesting information on the Materials Safety Data Sheets. It also includes information on hazard protection, prevention, and what to do in case of spills. 4 Hr.

Federal law requires the use of ICS to HazMat incidents (for example, biohazards, chemical terrorism, spills, and other hazardous materials). By the year 2005, it is federally mandated that states and other public/ local agencies adopt ICS as standard for responding to incidents. 24 Hr.

This is designed to provide guidance to hospitals, EMS, health care facilities and citizens who may become involved in a mass casualty incident as a result of a hazardous materials incident (HMI) or weapons of mass destruction (WMD) event. Unlike many courses of this nature, the HERT/MCI expands on the hospital incident management system (HIMS), addresses chemical protective clothing and equipment (CPC&E) requirements, and presents guidance for hospital emergency response team (HERT) design, development and training.
