| What is ETC? Sponsored through the Economic Workforce Development program of the California Community College System, the Environmental Training Centers (ETC) provide the highest quality environment, health, safety, and homeland security training for the California workforce and assist small-to-medium-sized businesses in their environmental compliance issues.
Why use ETC? Based upon a business need, ETC can offer low cost or free technical assistance. Often ETC can serve as a liaison between a business and government agencies. The ETC can assist businesses with compliance issues and provide services designed to mitigate the impact of Environmental, Health & Safety regulations. We collaborate with Professional Associations, Cal-EPA, Federal EPA, FEMA, OES, Department of Health and many other federal and state agencies to provide training.
